Center for Vaccinology
CEVAC is a dedicated trial centre, specialized in vaccine research and conducting vaccine trials. It has a Clinical Trial Unit and an Immunology Lab.
In recent decades, CEVAC has been involved in the development and evaluation of vaccines against hepatitis B, the first combined hepatitis A/B vaccine, a therapeutic hepatitis C vaccine, vaccines for HPV, herpes simplex viruses, HIV, tuberculosis, pertussis, influenza, group B streptococci, RSV, and more.

CEVAC’s immunomonitoring laboratory has been a fixed value in the field of vaccine research for many decades. Serving as a central laboratory in numerous multi- and monocentric, (inter)national vaccine trials, CEVAC Lab offers comprehensive support in processing various sample types and project management. The close collaboration and physical proximity with the Clinical Trial Unit ensures efficient operations.
CEVAC Lab is specialized in researching and measuring vaccine-induced immunity with a vast expertise in designing, developing, qualifying, and validating assays.
Our portfolio includes assays for detecting and quantifying innate and adaptive, both humoral and cellular, immune responses. All activities are performed adhering to the highest quality standards and regulatory compliance, including GCLP guidelines.
